Montenegro Court Approves Extradition of Do Kwon for Crypto-Related Crimes

Do Kwon Extradited to U.S. or South Korea

The saga of Terraform Labs co-founder Do Kwon has taken an interesting turn, as the High Court of Podgorica in Montenegro has approved his extradition to either South Korea or the United States.

The court’s official statement released on Nov. 24 stated that the legal requirements for Kwon’s extradition had been met.

The final decision on his extradition will be made by Montenegro’s Minister of Justice.

Prior to this, a court in Montenegro had sentenced Kwon to four months in jail for using a forged Costa Rican crypto widget for website.
