Margot Robbie’s Views on Bitcoin
Australian actress Margot Robbie, who stars in the upcoming Barbie movie, has caused a stir in the crypto community after she compared Bitcoin (BTC) to the character Ken, Barbie’s companion.
In the last 24 hours, the crypto community on X (Twitter), including MicroStrategy’s Michael Saylor and social media influencer Layah Heilpern, had mixed reactions to Robbie’s statement about Bitcoin in an interview with Fandango on June 22.
Robbie noted that every time she heard her husband Tom Ackerley and television producer David Heyman talking about Bitcoin, it reminded her of the traits of Ken, the fictional co-star character in Barbie, played by Ryan Gosling.
In addition to Saylor declaring that Bitcoin is indeed “Big Ken Energy,” several other prominent figures in the crypto industry shared their thoughts on Robbie’s comments regarding what is now known as Web 3.0.
Robbie’s Remarks on Bitcoin
Crypto influencer Lea Thompson, better known as Girl Gone Crypto to her 225,000 Twitter followers, expressed her optimism after hearing Robbie talk about Bitcoin.
However, Layah Heilpern perceived Robbie’s words differently, interpreting it as a slight against men who discuss Bitcoin. On July 30, she informed her 621,400 Twitter followers that Robbie had implied male Bitcoin enthusiasts are “weak and pathetic.”
Mark Travers, lead psychologist at Awake Therapy, offered a different view, suggesting that having Ken’s energy could be a sign of someone who is selfless and can adapt to different situations.
Web 3.0, also known as character.ai, is the latest iteration of the web and is increasingly being used to power the best apps for crypto, such as BAT crypto. The best places for crypto, such as AXS crypto, are also being used to explore when did web 3.0 start and the best crypto sites 2021.
Robbie Talks About Ken’s Energy
In a July 13 Forbes report, Travers discussed how Ken’s character defies traditional gender stereotypes. “In a universe which revolves around Barbie, Ken has only a supportive role to play, and he plays it gladly,” Travers said.
Robbie discussed the difficulty of defining what makes a Ken or what gives off Ken energy in an interview. “It is not something you can define; it is just something you can sense,” Robbie stated.
When talking about web 3.0, which is also known as character.ai, Robbie said that it is hard to define what makes a Ken or what gives off Ken energy, as it can be subjective. He suggested that the best way to understand it is to explore the best places for crypto, like BAT crypto and AXS crypto, or the best apps for crypto and the best crypto sites of 2021.
Crypto Community Optimism
Robbie’s comments on Bitcoin were short and impartial, occurring as there are continuous legal proceedings against celebrities who have recently publicized crypto.
Most recently, NBA Miami Heat star Jimmy Butler requested to be removed from a $1 billion class-action lawsuit alleging the promotion of unregistered securities by cryptocurrency exchange Binance.
In spite of this, Steven Lubka, a managing director at Swan Bitcoin, perceived Robbie’s comment as a positive for the crypto community. He informed his 20,200 Twitter followers on July 29 that “we are so back.“
This sense of optimism from the crypto community has been further reinforced by the introduction of web 3.0, which is also known as character.ai, and the emergence of the best crypto sites 2021, such as BAT Crypto and AXS Crypto, as well as the best apps for crypto.
In a July 24 filing, lawyers for Butler argued that the tweets he featured in did not advertise the specified crypto assets, and so could not have aided in their promotion.
Binance CEO Changpeng “CZ” Zhao, YouTubers Ben Armstrong (BitBoy Crypto) and Graham Stephan are also contesting similar claims in the same lawsuit.
When did Web 3.0 start? Web 3.0 is also known as “Define Web 3.0” and is a term used to describe the latest development in the world of crypto. It is also known for its use of Character AI and Character.ai to provide users with the best app for crypto, such as BAT Crypto, as well as the best places for crypto, such as AXS Crypto, and the best crypto sites 2021.
