Crypto Shiba Inu Could Go Live In August

Shiba Inu to Release Layer 2, Shibarium, at Blockchain Futurist Conference

Shytoshi Kusama, the lead developer of Shiba Inu, announced in a July 6 blog post that the team will have discussions and potentially launch the highly anticipated layer 2, Shibarium, during the Blockchain Futurist Conference, ETHToronto and ETHWomen hackathons, scheduled for August 2023 in Canada.

Kusama noted that this event is significant because it coincides with Shiba Inu’s third anniversary and is taking place in the birthplace of Ethereum.

The developer also revealed that the Shiba Inu ecosystem will serve as the title sponsor for the upcoming Blockchain Futurist Conference, as well as the official hackathons, ETHToronto and ETHWomen. Additionally, Kusama will make an appearance via artificial intelligence technology and deliver a speech during a conference held on the day of the Shibarium release.

The conference will showcase the “world paper” of the Shiba Inu ecosystem, announce new projects and provide detailed information about the Treat token for the first time.

Shibarium Hosts Hackathon at Blockchain Futurist Conference

At the Blockchain Futurist Conference, Shibarium will host a hackathon that will extend over a number of months. Attendees can explore two booths dedicated to Shibarium and its various Shiba Inu-related products and services, such as Shib the Metaverse, Shibacals, Shiba Eternity, Shiboshis and more. Moreover, partners like Unification and BadIdea.Ai will have displays, as well as new projects that use Shibarium Tech.

The Shiba Inu ecosystem is divided into four tokens, with each token having a specific role. Shiba Inu (SHIB) is in charge of the community, Bone ShibaSwap (BONE) deals with the technology aspect, the Doge Killer (Leash) token provides protection and exclusivity, and the Treat token is responsible for community projects. The Doggy DAO will govern the Shiba Inu ecosystem, while the Shib Doggy DAO Foundation will implement the decisions of the decentralized autonomous organization and manage its assets.
